# SpiceCRM installation comes back to "Set Backend Screen"

Hello,  
When i try to install spicecrm on ubuntu 24.04 with apache 2.4.58 version, It loops back to the initial “Set Backend” screen after the “Review and Install” Screen. On the chrome debugger, there is a 503 for the “crm/api/sysinfo” call. There are no errors in logs of php or apache

Please advise on how to fix it.

Interesting behaviour. Did you turn on urlrewrite?
