deleted lead not in trashcan manager

I deleted a Lead from the Leads detail view using the action item at top right

I wanted to retrieve this lead so I went to the Trashcan Manager and selected ‘Leads’ module and there was nothing in there.

Is FTS involved in this feature?
Is there any config required for this feature?

FTS is not involved, no config required.
I could not reproduce. Only when “show_deleted” ist set there is no entry saved in the systrashcan table. But I wouldn’t know how to set it.
Any error in the api/spicecrm.log refering to an insert error into systrashcan?
